Today, I woke up at 4 am, flew from Kuopio to Helsinki to a very fruitful meeting with the FinSpine national spine registry group. After that, I had the Finnish Society for Spine Surgery meeting with my esteemed collegues. Right after that meeting, I had a Zoom-meeting with my international Eurospine colleagues. Now, after 9 hours of meetings, I am heading with late night train to Tampere, where I will join the international AO Spine faculty for a teaching course for posterio

Finland celebrates the independency!

Through the perseverance and determination of our veterans, our grandfathers and grandmothers, Finland prevailed. Today, as I celebrate our independence while listening to Finlandia by Jean Sibelius - so beautifully performed by the Kuopio Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Eugene
