The "Winners in Spine" have been chosen...

During the EuroSpine Annual Meeting 2025 in Copenhagen, two award sessions were held: the “Award-Winning Lectures of the National Spine Societies” and the “Best of Show”.

The winner of the first was Dr. Jeroen Huybregts from the Netherlands, recognized for his outstanding work “Surgical versus Conservative Treatment for Odontoid Fractures in the Elderly: An International Prospective Comparative Study.”

The “Best of Show” award went to Dr. Teija Lund from Finland for her remarkable long-term study, “Longitudinal Progression of Disc Degeneration Over 23 Years from Adolescence to Adulthood.”
