Complications from prior spine surgeries left the patient with severe instability and immobilizing pain. In a desperate situation, I undertook two complex, high-risk procedures. The journey is ongoing, but today she walks again - pain-free - and filled with gratitude. On a card she gave me in the office today, she wrote: “No more pain” and “Thank you for giving me my life back.” Moments like this are why I keep pushing myself - every day, a little harder.
